The battery connection idea is a very simple and common “Y-cable” one, but all the connections are hidden inside the battery, so you only need to connect 2 plugs. Do not forget that you MUST equalize voltage of the batteries before joining them. The simplest way to equalize voltages is to fully charge batteries, so their voltages are near 41-42V. The boat battery is equipped with a Xiaomi-compatible round charge plug, so you can easily charge it by your original Xiaomi charger.

The battery is protected by a 15A common port Daly BMS with balancing. There is an extra protection stage by a 15A car fuse, which can be easily replaced.

There are 20 pieces of 18650 cells inside the battery, which provide about 6500-7000 mAh of capacity. Since the original M365/1S/Mi3 batteries are 7800 mAh, the boat battery grants about 80% extra range. Since the original M187/Essential batteries are 5200 mAh, the boat battery grants about 130% extra range. We use high quality branded cells.

The boat battery body is milled of a solid HDPE plastic sheet, which provides great durability. There is also a 1 mm steel sheet inside for extra cells protection.

The battery is “Plug and Play”, just carefully do the following steps:

1. Fully charge the scooter as usual

2. Fully charge the boat battery through the round Xiaomi-compatible port on it

3. Unscrew the original battery cover.

4. Connect the charging mode supressor module. You don’t need to flash the scooter.

5. Connect the boat battery

6. Screw the boat battery

7. Enjoy

The set is compatible with Xiaomi M365, M187, 1S, Essential, Mi3. The set is not compatible with Xiaomi PRO, PRO2, 4PRO, 4Ultra.
